Only a few days after the launch of the new iTunes version, a small Austrian company now presents with “AppButler” a simple and innovative way to organize apps, bringing some more order into the world of iPhone and iPod Touch - and a more than useful extension to the currently introduced app organization in iTunes 9.0.
AppButler: Paging and App-Indexes for iPhone and iPhone Touch
With the idea to enable a better orientation on the iPhone and iPod touch screen, AppButler offers the possibility to mark the screens with page numbers. Additional AppButler helps the user to set up an app register with the 20 official app categories, as well as a special sub-register for games, right on the screens to organize his apps.
Directly via iPhone to handle and iTunes 9.0 compatible
Page numbers as well as app-register icons are available in several designs and 12 different colours and can be directly downloaded with safari. After this, the user is able to adjust the page numbers and registers like normal web-clips. But in particular, the compatibility with the new iTunes 9.0 turns out to be the real advantage and an outstanding extension for the proclaimed app organization. The new iTunes version supports AppButler completely. All page numbers and register icons are shown on the displayed screens and can be organized via drag&drop like conventional iPhone apps.
