No, AppButler doesn't offer folders to organize apps like files on your computer. Of course, we thougt about that (and was the very first idea indeed), but unfortunately it isn't possible without access to the iPhone system software. And that's solely a thing of Apple. So please don't be gutted about it and don't penalize us with bad reviews in the appstore. We never mentioned to create folders in any our descriptions.
We have recognized some problems with the network connection in some areas. So if you get the error message (like in the screenshot) "No network connection. Unable to connect to the AppButler service. Please check your network settings." check the following steps:
- do you have any internet connection?
- wait some minutes and try it again.
- in cases of longer delay restart your phone.
Sorry for that. We are working on that problem and try to figure it out as soon as possible.
No, you can't delete icons you created with AppButler with iTunes, because the icons are stored like simple web clipps. You know, you can put a direct icon and link to websites on your screen by "Add to Homescreen" in Safari. And you can't delete them with iTunes either. So, if you wan't to delete an icon created with AppButler, you have to delete it directly on your iPhone.
Yes. AppButler iocns are full iTunes 9.0 compatible. The page numbers and register icons are adjustable like normal web-clips. In particular the compatibility with the new iTunes 9.0 turns out to be the real advantage and an outstanding extension for the proclaimed app organization. The new iTunes version supports AppButler completely. All page numbers and register icons are shown on the displayed screens and can be organized via drag&drop like conventional iPhone apps.
No. To download the icons, you need to use the AppButler app. But the single downloaded icons can be organized and arranged with iTunes 9 like simple web clips.
